Wings Homeboycooking Style
It's football season!! It is time for crisp air and leaves crunching underfoot....but not just yet. It is still pretty nice out. But anyway football means sports food...and a favorite is the Wing! I wonder why drumsticks never took off. In the market they are half the price of wings and have way more meat...Sigh! Another mystery of the universe. But we're talking wings and a good wing takes the sting out of even a Cleveland Brown loss....oh sorry! But DA BEARS won and that makes me happy. And its Monday so let me share how I made wings for the Bears game that didn't even come on T.V. in this market!

Here is what you need
           1 package of chicken wings
           2 tbsp seasoning salt
           2 tbsp chicken rub seasoning

sauces:  barbecue sauce, hot sauce, blue cheese dressing
I like to dress up my sauces...for example:  Tangy bbq:  mix 3 tbsp of bbq sauce, 1 tsp of horse radish, 2 tbsp of hot sauce, 1/4 boullion of chipotle
                                                                                   seasoning

Here is what you do
Picture
Place the wings in a medium pot and bring to a light boil for about 20 mins total time. This breaks down the fat under the skin and makes for a crispier wing when baked.

Let cool for 15 minutes and cut the wings separating the drummette from the wing tip.

Sprinkle with seasoning blend to evenly coat the wings.

Place wings on a baking sheet and place into a 375F preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Serve them up with a little celery sticks and a couple of COLD ones and enjoy the game!!
