Vman's Pineapple Banana Pudding
Banana Pudding is one of my favorite simple desserts. Lots of flavor, easy to prepare, and essentially a dessert comfort food. This variation is my own design using pineapple which is one of my favorite fruits. So let's get in the kitchen and make some.
Here is what you need
4 ripe bananas
1 box vanilla pudding mix (or you can use homemade vanilla pudding)
1/2 cup of a "whipped" and "cool" dessert topping
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 can thoroughly drained crushed pineapple
1 box vanilla wafers (not the store brand...the good ones)
Here is what you doAs in the first photo below, layer the sliced bananas over the vanilla wafers. Now in a separate bowl mix your vanilla pudding mix, add 1/2 cup of that dessert "whipped" topping that's "cool"...lol add your nutmeg, vanilla extract, and drained crushed pineapple. Stir together until nice and smooth. Now pour the pudding mixture over the layer of cookies and bananas. Repeat this step until ...well you will know. Crush some vanilla wafers and sprinkle on top for a garnish. Place covered in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hrs. Ready to dish up. I love it. Let me know if you make this or have your own rendition of this dessert!
